Hi,
I have a 4wd 1987 townace and a 1987 spacecruiser,the exhaust on the cruiser is brand new and without a catalytic converter and I would like to fit it to the ace which does have a cat.The actual physical fitting looks identical but will the ace run correctly without the cat and a disconnected lambda sensor.

You don't need a cat, but you *must* have the lambda sensor plugged in and in the exhaust. You can buy a weld-on flange for it tho, try your local Lucas distributor
