Hello!! Great to see so many Townace enthusiasts!

I was wondering if anyone knows what type of roof rack/bars i need for my J reg townace super extra? I want to put my canoe on the roof you see. Any help much appreciated

I've managed to get a twelve foot canoe inside the van no problem at all. Take off the front passenger headrest, recline the seat, have the seat behind it flat and the nearside half of the back seat folded up. I can even fit a 9 foot sit on top over it and still have room for two passengers. If they get in first that is.

If you want to be sensible then any standard van type rack will do. You just need the long reach and fittings that grip onto the gutter on the side. Measure the height from the gutter to the top and the width of the van at that point and any stockist should be able to help. Good luck getting up there to tie it down securely. And driving into any car parks on the way.
