i wonder if you can help me with a couple of faults i have encountered with my townace 1989 2.0td 4wd . Firstly all of a sudden the battery warning light,low oil level,coolant level and fuel filter drain light have decided to stay on whilst driving all levels o.k. any ideas p.s it is chargeing 14v thanks gareth

have you disconnected the offending items to see if the senders are at fault? if they are not perhaps a dash short? sounds wierd.

Definitely charging related. Check all the relevant fuses- charge, ign, engine, etc. The dash thinks you're not charging and so is doing the same lamp test it does at switch on. If the fuses as OK, suspect the regulator.

BTW there have been a number of very similar queries over the past few weeks, you might want to scan down the board a bit...
