hello all is it poss to do the timing on you own or is it a garage job i,m not bad with motors petrol but not to sure about diesals .

It's easy enough, if you have the test gear. You'll need a small dial gauge and the adaptor for the rear of the pump (same adaptor does Bosch and Denso...)
