(Home) masteracesurf front blower only works on high speed

Engine: 2C-T 1974 cc

Can anybody tell me where the load resistor is located for my Masteracesurf because the front blower only works on high speed and not on medium or low speeds? And when the control switch is set to AUTO it to will only cut in when a high speed is demanded. I have located the blower behind the passengers glove box.

in the front of the fan housing for normal ones, not 100% about climate control models but probably same. Anyone else?

I had the same trouble on my 1991 Masterace. The sliding switch, on the dash, makes it's contacts via a captive ball riding over the relative contacts. To get at the switch means taking the central facia off and pulling the whole heater switch assembly, complete with cables, a little way out of the front scuttle. The sliding switch is a sealed unit but I managed to dismantle it, re-fit the ball and clean the contacts etc. This cured the problem for me.

OK thanks for that, I've located the resistor and the central resistor is open circuit.
