Hello to all, Just wondering if there are any rules for posting, as i posted a message yesterday about a car breakers where i had a result in some parts i needed, and as advised i passed this information on to be helpfull to anyone who needed it and today it's gone. Did i do something wrong ???

" It is not a board to advertise items for sale and any messages that quote prices or inform visitors of items for sale will be deleted."

Dan

Don't take it personally as most boards don't like you to list items for sale as it smacks of commercialism etc. You could have simply said something like "I'm aware of XYZ parts at ABC location, e-mail me for further details and prices if interested" then I'm sure that would have been acceptable. Don't let this little setback put you off posting in the future as your input will undoubtedly help someone else who uses the board.

As for the inane comment in your name, we are well aware that infantile comments like that aren't genuine. I expect I'll get a typical response to this now as a result.

The last 2 posts weren't me either, I understand what you are saying Ian but i just statted were there are 2 TownAces in a breakers i'm not selling them or know what prices the owner of the breakers wants for certain parts that i didn't post. It was just to inform my fellow townie's where some parts are, just thought like with other post like that, that it is helpfull. How can it smack of commercialism when it just the name of a breakers, i dont gain nothing apart from the knowledge that someone might just get that part they have been looking for.

I got praised in the past for doing that, and frowned on now ??? It's just strange.

And as for you looser keep posting in my name, shame you havent got nothing better to do with your pethetic life than bug a nice help forum like this.

So how do we get something we have for sale posted onto the Ace Answers site? I posted a ad for some brake bits I have for sale on here a few weeks ago, and have yet to find it on the AA site?

The new forum at www.members.spboards.com DOES have a place for advertising offerings.

I suspect that the moderator of this board would not normally have deleted Dan's original post, thank the troll for having upset things here.

I edit Ace Answers where I advertise vehicles but not parts. Sorry Paul that I didn't reply about the brake bits.
