Tables

1. Step/table.

"My Mother-in-law has difficulty getting in the side door so I purchased a plastic step made by Addis. It stores neatly on top of the engine between the driver and passenger seats creating a small table. It can also be used for a small table in the back."

2. Table (rear).

WARNING! DRIVING WITH A TABLE LIKE THIS MIGHT INJURE OCCUPANTS OR DAMAGE THE INTERIOR, ESPECIALLY ANY FIXING POINTS. IT SHOULD BE STOWED WHILE DRIVING.

There is no known ready-made solution for this popular addition. If you've got curtains, with a non energised lower guide rail, then that can be used as a support. See the table which John Davis made:

My (Dave Mason) solution is similar, from two offcuts of contiboard (top:1065 x 450mm and leg:545 x 330mm), two modified angle brackets, two hinges and a cuphook. This is thin enough to stow beside the middle row of seats in a 7-seater. The cuphook is in the underside of the table top where it can be twisted by hand to hook over the leg hold it against the underside of the top in the folded-up position ...

At 450mm wide the top can just be lowered between the seats to hook/unhook at the curtain rail. The carved shape of the leg allows you to squeeze your knees and toes past it to get into the seats. Friction between the base of the leg and the carpet is enough to keep it upright ...

The pictures below show a profile for the angle brackets so that they can hook over the lower rim of the rail and then, when the top is raised to horizontal, the top edge locks under the upper rim of the rail. Note that they are shaped so they are entirely within the thickness of the contiboard, not sticking out below - so they don't catch on things when you're stowing the table. Mine started out as brackets from a DIY store for fixing kitchen cupboards together ...

3. Table (front)

An idea for a table in the front though not perhaps if you have a coolbox or you smoke!
